About Us
Founded in 2022, Magic Maids Cleaning is a family-run business based in Nottinghamshire, proudly serving our local community and parts of Derbyshire. Established by two sisters-in-law with a shared passion for caring for others, our mission is to make daily life easier, safer, and more comfortable for elderly and vulnerable individuals.
Though a young business, our team brings together decades of combined experience in cleaning, care, and community support. Built on genuine family values, compassion, and respect, we’ve created a trusted service that puts people first.
Our Services
We offer a comprehensive range of non-medical home support services, designed to promote comfort, independence, and wellbeing:
Domestic Cleaning – Regular or one-off cleaning, tailored to each client’s specific needs, to keep homes fresh and well cared for.
Befriending Services – Warm, friendly companionship to help reduce loneliness and promote social connection and emotional wellbeing.
Assistance with Appointments – Reliable support with transport and accompaniment to and from medical or personal appointments.
Shopping Support – Help with grocery shopping, either by accompanying clients or completing the shop on their behalf.
Meal Preparation – Home-style, nutritious meals prepared to individual preferences, ensuring safety and comfort in every dish.
Laundry Service – Complete laundry care, including washing, drying, ironing, and putting clothes or linens neatly away.
Handyman, Electrician & Gardening Services – Trusted, reliable professionals for household repairs, maintenance, and garden care.
Please note: We do not provide personal care or handle medications.

Our Experience & Values
Our team is made up of dedicated, caring women with extensive experience supporting the elderly—many of whom have worked in care homes or as family carers. We understand the importance of dignity, independence, and trust in every aspect of support.
We have particular experience assisting clients living with dementia, terminal illness, and limited mobility, always approaching each situation with empathy, patience, and professionalism.
Pricing
We believe quality care should be affordable. Our rates are clear and competitive:

All other services are quotation-based, and we offer a free, no-obligation in-person quote to ensure we fully understand your needs.

I contacted Magic Maids and after the initial inspection was allocated Emma to visit me and she has proved an absolute gem. She is not only a great cleaner, but also has a lovely bubbly personality -- she is so greatly appreciated!
Eileen04/02/2026Magic Maids are truly magical, they do as I ask every time and no job is too big for them. If I have to change the day last minute they are always accommodating and super friendly. I have Kimberley come to my house twice a week and she will pick me up my shopping and bring it with her, she cooks me lunch and cleans up for me.

Used the cleaning services for my 88 year old grandma. Informed at the beginning of the week, days and times of visits. Directors would inform me if staff noticed something out of the norm for my grandma so felt they truly cared. As she has dementia it was agreed that should she underpay, they would contact myself and I would settle the remaining bill so as not to embarrass or confuse my grandma further. Very happy with the services provided. -
